What was your favourite book when you were a child?
My teacher used to read 'Stig of the Dump' by Clive King. I still have the book I bought when I was young!
What made you write books when you have dyslexia?
I have always loved to hear stories and I used to write them too. But because my writing was so bad I could never read them. We didn't have computers when I was younger! When I got a laptop I started to write again. Because I'm dyslexic its a lot more difficult but I'm not going to let it stop me!
What would your advice be for somebody who has dyslexia?
To never let it stop you from doing anything you want to. It might seem hard at times but keep trying and don't be afraid to ask for help.
Is there anything you have found that helps you read?
I was very kindly invited to a Dyslexia School in Bristol and was amazed by the aids to help. I particularly like the coloured reading rulers, and it was pointed out to me that using the font Comic Sans helps reading too. I certainly agree!
